Light doesn't accelerate. But F=MA. So how do solar sails receive force to be moved without acceleration being involved?

Force = Mass x Acceleration (F=MA) as we all know. We all know light does not accelerate, it moves at c and only c. So how do things like solar sails (or really any object) receive a force when hit by photons. Without acceleration there can be no force correct?

Who is the strongest Budokai competitor who isn't a Z warrior?

Who wins this tournament of Tenkaichi Budokai competitors who are not a part of the main cast or villains from the series (tao)? These warriors are not unskilled, just no match for the Z warriors. And these match ups can be rather fun to think about given their personalities. Rather than just a simple power level guess. How do you think these matches go given how they behave in tournament as well?

Nominally you get 6 fighters who fall into this category. (Giran, Ranfan, Nam, Bacterian, Pamput and Man-wolf). To fill out the bracket I added King Chappa since he was a former world champ and respected by fighters like Roshi and Yamcha in both the preliminary matches he was in. Chi Chi could easily be considered a part of the cast. But given the only other options were tao or Kami I felt she fit the bill most closely.

Anyway I did the brackets randomly. who do you think wins each match and why. And who ultimately wins?

A screen that plays random MP4 videos upon boot up?

For my man cave I would love a screen that upon being turned on just immediately starts playing random MP4 videos that are preloaded onto it (shuffle mode essentially). Just turn the device on and bam.

I am sure this is possible but I am not overtly tech savvy unless I am following specific guide on youtube (which isn't really saying much). So any advice would be appreciated.

What’s your idea for a Simpsons spinoff that would be successful.

Rick and Morty is about to launch its second spinoff show as is family guy. Do you think The Simpsons could release a successful spinoff? If so, what do you think would work? Who would star?

If it helps. Pretend it’s 1997 at the height of Simpson’s popularity.

Newest additions to my lord of the rings library

I love lord of the rings like everyone else here. But I grew up on the rankin bass Hobbit VHS tape long before the LOTR movies. And I think the Rankin bass hobbit is a fine adaptation of tolkiens work. To this day when I think of a hobbit, it’s this version I imagine. Same goes for Gollum. So I very much wanted to add them to my collection.

Making a joke about 'a Chad.' Women named Karen you have my genuine sympathy.

As I enter middle age I can't help but roll my eyes at the teenagers and new adults who work in services who make a joke about my first name being 'Chad.' I know they are trying to be funny. And I appreciate their attempts at connecting at any level beyond a transactional one despite the nature of their job. But it's really annoying.

I lived through the 'hanging chad' jokes of the early 2000's in middle school. "The Chad' Charlie angel jokes of the same time period. And have lived through the 'a Chad' meme's that are finally starting to die down. Hearing someone make an attempted joke about 'the chad' even with the best of intentions is comparable to me making the "oops it didn't scan. It must be free" line to the cashier. I'll spare you that line if you spare me the 'a Chad' comments.

To all the other 'Chads' on reddit. I feel your pain.

Women named Karen. You truly have my sympathy. At least the stupid 'Chad' meme's aren't negative. I can't imagine what you poor gals go through with your name.

Yet another login.gov question.

I've had a usajobs account for about a decade. But now that I have to link with login.gov USAJOBS keeps acting like I am creating a new account. I click on 'sign in' on USAJOBs and it takes me to the privacy information page. I agree to that and it tells me it's going to send all my data to login.gov. I click ok. But it creates a new USAJOBs account. From ground zero.

I just want to access my normal usajobs account I've had for years. That contains my current resume and all the jobs I recently applied to. How can I do that?
