I have read and are quite certain the current generation of Samsung foldables come with a 6 months trial period for the Google AI premium services.

As I don't have interest in making use of the trial yet I don't want it to be wasted, I wanted to give it to a friend by doing the first setup with them and connecting their Google account first and disconnect it after redeeming the trial.

When does offer to start the trial appear? During first setup like Google One on some devices? Or in the Gemini app, as mentioned in some 2025 Samsung Community posts?

Also, has anyone else done this? I don't see how it could break some other features like Samsung Care as they aren't attached to Google, but I still want to ask. My Samsung Account will be used regardless, only Google's will not be mine at first.

In the back of my current Xiaomi Poco X3 I always keep either a Pokémon or Yu-Gi-Oh card, with a transparent case.

Counting the camera bump and the shorter display of the Fold 8 (Wide), can those card fit either vertically or horizontally (as the screen is wider, maybe there is a chance for that)? My concern is the vertical camera bump, that might be foot large to allow fitting such cards.
