Warning: Aulumu overselling product than claiming it's a Pre-order
Just a heads up for anyone considering ordering from Aulumu, be careful.
I placed an order for a ZFold 8 case that was listed as a normal, in stock product. No mention of "pre order" anywhere at the product page and checkout. Today after contacting support why my product has not shipped yet, I get a message saying my package won't ship until August 26th because it's apparently a "pre order item."
Here's the problem: it was never labeled as a pre order when I bought it. This looks like a classic case of overselling. They didn't actually have the stock they advertised, and now they're relabeling it as a pre order to cover for it after customers already paid.
What makes it worse is that this same company got YouTubers to promote and hype up the product, driving sales, while regular customers who ordered are stuck waiting indefinitely with no transparency about what actually happened.
Has anyone else run into this with Aulumu? Curious if this is a pattern or a one off.
