What dormant gaming IP do you wanna see return

So many game IPs have been just laying with publishers who just hold on to them. I have been thinking about IPs which would be great if they have a new game now. For me I have a few that come to my mind.

Ultima: I personally tried to get into the Ultima series but the older games and their gameplay has always been just so clunky imo. But the world and the concepts are so cool, Honestly the games are in the prime territory for a remake but sadly EA seems to have no interest in it.

Myth: If you asked me before I would have said I would love for Marathon to be back as it is my fav Sci Fi world in fiction. But now we have a new game, and I personally love it many ways even as it is divisive. It got me thinking of another Bungie IP that I loved...Myth. The story and concepts of the 2 Bungie Myth games are just so good. The horror of the undead and the player experinceing it as a group of common soldiers in a RTS is so cool. But right now Take-Two seemingly has fully forgotten about it. They did try to make Myth 3 but it was not as good, they seemingly have abandoned the IP since.

Quake: This is simple, I love Quake...I love the atmosphere of the OG Quake, Quake 2 and 4 are literraly a different story and world. Quake 3 and Champions are multiplyer only and also completely different games. I would love to see the continuation or addition to the first Quake. The Remasters of Quake and Quake 2 did add campaigns connecting and following up on Quake 1 but honestly I would love to see a new Quake by ID Software. They still have the IP, I just wish they use it to nake new games.

I would love to know what other Game IP others wish would be back/revived

A Horde mode could be great addition

After the recent reveal of Vault Breaker (https://www.bungie.net/7/en/News/Article/season\_2\_key\_dates), I have been thinking if in terms of PvE modes a Horde mode like the Firefight mode in Halo or Onslaught in Destiny 2 would likely work pretty well in Marathon.

Imagine going from different Points of Intersts on the map clearing out waves of UESC with growing difficulty ending with a boss encounter as such. We can get reward similar to Vault Breaker with a PvE currency to buy stuff for the main extraction mode. Maybe if the waves are getting too hard there can be an extract option at the price of some of the PvE currency you find.

There can also be a very rare modifier (such as compromised or Fragile) on items which allow them to be bought from PvE mode to other modes but it can be pretty rare.

I think that a mode like this will work great, only increasing the map knowledge while being a fun PvE mode.

Arachne needs Priority Contracts

The concept of Arachne works well for Standard PvP contracts (Bungie is utilizing that well) but I hope we get more Priority Contracts with them. They are the only faction without much involvement in the story, even Cyac is involved more through the Marathon Ship contracts and ONI.

I hope with the talks of a more pure PvP mode from Bungie, Arachne can get contracts with that.

The Saddest thing about D2 shutting down is that it will always be Incomplete

I have been playing Destiny 2 since it came to Steam. I was lucky enough to experince all of Destiny 2's content and campaigns before it was vaulted.

DCV has been a bane to this game and its reputation. However much I loved Destiny 2, I could never reccomend the game to any of my friends due to that. I personally stopped playing after The Final Shape. I feel like after that expansion, the best that Bungie could do was restore the parts of the game which have been cut out. Sadly I do not think we will ever get that with D2 anymore

Bungie makes excellent games and I would love for all to enjoy them. I mean, I absolutely love Marathon and have 400 plus hours in it. I hope Bungie turns things around with making Marathon a more approchable game so that they can make more games in the future, even a D3. The devs if Bungie honestly deserve the best.

Unlike any other Bungie game until now such as OG Marathon, Pathways, Halo, Myth, ONI etc ; D2 will never be a complete game now which a player can go back to.

Edit: As many are mentioning it, I ment Shutting down in terms of Live Service updates, and not the game fully shutting down
