Hot Take: Rise of the Ronin is Team Ninja's best game

People talk about Nioh 3 being Team Ninja's magnum opus, and I love the Nioh games, but they're not the whole package. Rise of the Ronin was the more well-rounded experience, especially when it comes to the world and story. The combat is excellent - I've never felt like reading body language is so important and well-done as a combat mechanic. It really makes you feel like a samurai. And it can be quite challenging at times, especially on the higher difficulties.

Will the new Flex fan sku's include white variants?

Planning a white build and wondering whether to wait. Cheers!

Wireless SL LCD fans - do they need USB IO connection permanently?

Here's what I'd like to be able to do. Please let me know if it's technically supported:

Regarding https://lian-li.com/product/uni-fan-sl-wireless/ LCD screen version.

  • Plug the fan's LCD USB connection into a motherboard header, and upload my custom animation to the LCD screen.
  • Remove the USB cable from the motherboard and plug it into a separate, power-only USB connection (no motherboard, no hub, no IO at all - just power).
  • The LCD screen keeps playing my custom animation.

Thanks!

Gratuitous re-use of assets in Nioh 3

I'm about 40 hours into Nioh 3 and it seems like all but a couple enemies and even most of the bosses are just lifted straight out of Nioh 2. Does it get better, because I had enough of these enemies in the last game?

Fun fact: when your agent says, "Found the critical detail!" it doesn't know what it's going to say next

LLM's predict no more more than a 2-3 words at a time, so when it says something like this, it's like when you gear up to tell a joke in banter and hope one is going to come to you on the fly. Sometimes it does and sometimes you just get awkward and say, "I got nothing"

Nioh 3 is not Elden Ring, but it's not not Elden Ring

What a huge step up from Nioh 2. I'm really enjoying wandering around in this world, and the combat options are out-of-this-world.

Its sales are well deserved.
