A night out with my drunk friends led me here

An outing for what I thought would be a quick coffee stop turned into a dinner and them getting drunk, all the while I just kept thinking “I don’t belong here”.

Don’t get me wrong, sure they are nice people but I feel some friendships just don’t align with me anymore. Hence, now im back home and it just hit me how I don’t have any Muslim friends in my circle. I’m not the most religious but sure I want to change that. I’m looking for friendships that are quieter, intentional, built around something I can aspire for

I’m a female, 24. I want more female friendships with the ones who might be able to relate or the ones who are already better than me and want to help me out and push me to be better.

Not sure where or how I can find anyone. Just curious.

How much are you all managing to save/invest monthly from your salary? Not percentages, only figures!

I feel like I’m lagging behind a LOT , because I haven’t been able to save much, but I really want to get better..

na job ke sath khush na job ke bina

I just want to vent here so please bear with me. Last year around this time I was desperately looking for jobs, anything that would make me get out of my place. Something that would make me feel proud of myself. Something that was going to somehow “fix” everything wrong in my life, something that would fix me.
I ended up finding one few months later and moving out of my city. I ended up reconnecting with old school friends in the new city. But 7-8 months down the line that feeling has crept up again. What was supposed to somehow fix me has made me feel empty inside. I’ve been taking frequent offs because I feel too depressed. My colleagues have noticed the change in me and I don’t know how to respond. And it’s worse when you’re in a creative role because my mind just feels blocked and it can’t function. Like at surface level people might say things have improved etc but only I know that it isn’t true. I don’t want this life. It feels meaningless.
I don’t know.
