Zoot!

Excited about the new box!

I’m wondering why they decided to include the March Paris concert rather than the show in which Black Napkins originates from in Japan.

I would have thought that was the key show we would all want.

Anyone have any ideas on why not that show?

The chrome plated megaphone of destiny

The last note that rings out for 45 seconds or so.
Is this intentional?
To reference a day in the life. ?

I feel it’s probably obvious ….

But has there been any official statement of Frank or anyone saying so?

Feeding the monkies Notes?

According to Todd Yvegas notes in Feeding the Monkies album..:

He concludes…..

If we are to look at FZs synclavier work in chronological order …(excluding thing fish)

It is a wise idea to look at the evolution..,,as such…..

1984 - Perfect Stranger & Francesco Zappa
1985 - Mothers of Prevention
1986- Jazz from hell
1992 -civ phase 3

And that we should put monkies in between jazz from hell and civ iii
—-

Which now as time has passed with dance me tbis….

-

I feel the proper evolution so far would be…

1)Boulez&francesco Zappa
2) mothers of pre
3)jazz from hell
4)monkies
5)civ iii
6)dance me fbjs

What do yall think and why?

Question!

I’ve found that switching to pro tools has been quite a learning a curve

Anyone feel like mixing some goofy songs to see what will come of it ?

Maybe you could tell me some of your tips.

I am new!

My name is Matt.
When was young i taught myself to play guitar.
I loved nine inch nails and I knew I wanted to write and record music doing all instruments . Being the composer, engineer, performer, producer at the same time .

-
When i was 21 (2008) I met someone who had been recording music like that since the late 90s.

We began a band together and we are still cranking out recordings together .

-
In 2009 I decided I would use the resources to make music now that there was all of these instruments , recording equipment and a 24 track available.
-
I recorded my first album in 4 months.

Every song was stacked with every instrument I could get my hands on.

I didn’t know what I was doing, but , what came from it was the “Ween” inspired experimental/pop/slack project called The Jingheimer Orchestra….

4 albums came out of me so fast .

Simultaneously I wanted to write instrumental music that was thematic . Like … Peter Gunn… or old westerns .

So I was also recorded Gals of Ghost Town music .

…. I had always loved emotionally driven music with lyrics that were sad.

I recorded covers like “Sea of love” and a smiths song , and a cover of a mazzy star song …

The dreamt shoegaze style. But never went full into it because it was so much harder to allow myself to be vulnerable.

In the last few years I’ve upgraded to pro tools and a computer .

I don’t record on it.
I still record to the Tascam. And the. Move the files to mix on pro tools.

I’m currently recording the new Jingheimer Orchestra weirdo goofy music album .

I’m recording a new Gals of Ghost town album and

Finally the Violet Laura idea is coming true.

Lyrics about unrequited love.
-

I never went to school , I just never gave up. And had a good mentor and friend .

All of this music is available online.

As well as the albums me and my mentor have done which has grown into a moderately successful cult following independent band . More people outside of America seem to buy it .
-

I figured I’d give my story.

I don’t know why I do it . It’s just something I knew I always had to .

Every song is worth writing. Even if it’s a stupid song about a Pony.

Time sure does fly.

Question about them or us/mothers of prevention

I know “the closer you are”, “whippin post”
Sinister footwear, truck driver divorce , Stevie’s spanking, planet of my dreams , and shareleena
I don’t even care , turning again , alien orrifice, what’s new in Baltimore , we’re all being played before the 1984 bands .

Waste these two albums songs left over and tossed onto them or us/mothers of prevention?

-
I’m trying to organize my CDs chronologically as best as I can.

-

From …
Ship
Utopia
Them or us
And mothers of prevention…

How much of this stuff was recorded by the 81 and 82 bands ?

I know that … be In my video was new .

And the synclavierj was newish

But the 84 rock band . Did they end up on anything else other than does humor belong in music ?

R.Zappa

I know I know .
The responses aren’t gonna be good

A terrible desire I have to hear Treacherous Cretins matched up with R Kelly’s “trapped in the closet”

I can’t ever hear one without hearing the other …

Dayton Ohio laughter

The entire show I hear intense laughter in audience of a specific person.

Is this Tom Waits?

Was he opening for fz at that time?

If you listen to the recording of them doing ol55 you hear Tom laugh. Sounds exactly like the laughter through out this whole performance
