Shuffleboard?

Has anyone who’s already gone to the Wooble Wagon explain the shuffleboard game to me? I’m mostly trying to figure out how it works / what you actually do. If anyone has pics or video of the shuffleboard setup, I’d love to see them too!

Is this amount of crazing in an enameled Dutch oven still safe to cook with? Not sure how it happened.

I was cleaning my deep oven and noticed a network of fine cracks across part of the cooking surface.

I’ve attached photos. The enamel still feels smooth overall and I don’t see any obvious chips or exposed cast iron, but the crazing is definitely visible when the light hits it.

The confusing part is that I have no idea what caused it. I don’t think I’ve ever dropped it or thermally shocked it (at least not intentionally). It’s mainly been used for soups, stews, braises, and bread.

A few questions:

  • Is this amount of crazing considered normal wear?
  • Is it still safe to cook with if there are no chips or exposed metal?
  • Would you continue using it, or is this a sign that the enamel may start flaking?
  • Any ideas what might have caused it?

For reference, I've only had this since March of this year.

Thanks for any advice from people who have dealt with crazing before.
