The remaining RP held hostage by Gaijin is not given after landing. Started recently and happens about half the occasions. Wasn't it bad enough that they already steal that RP when a match ends before you can claim it?

Have you noticed? I can't find a bug report on it.

There's a recent and well known "bug" that only comes around in event times, which causes your event progress and rank to be temporarily reset while logged in to the game. It can endure for hours on end with no fix available to the player, including restarting the game. If you have completed an event stage and haven't yet had the chance to 'claim' it, this "bug" will cause complete loss of the whole 25 000 points with no chance of recovery. Gaijin support will NOT help in these cases.

Essentially, you can not ever depend on the event conditions being respected by the devs; at ANY point they may spuriously remove your means of claiming a completed stage, to leave you feeling that you have to BUY the event stage you already completed.

When your team has 5-10 players, and the other team has 1 or 2, it is in fact considered impolite for those 5-10 players to be circling the other team's airfield. It is incidentally also incredibly stupid to do this, since it leads to game end on the middle of your rewards cycles.
