Old?
My girlfriend called me “OLD” because I am browsing reddit instead of tiktok or instagram. I am 29 years old, yeah kind a old, but is there anyone here younger than me? Who prepared reddit than tiktok.

Too much or enough?
I just got the Dr. Melaxin Peel Shot Exfoliating Kojic Acid + Turmeric Serum today. How has it been working for you so far? I'd also appreciate any tips on how to incorporate it into my skincare routine.
I just want to share some motivation from my 3-month journey on Accutane.
Before starting my treatment, I completely lost my confidence. There were times when I didn’t even want to talk to my coworkers because I felt embarrassed about my acne. I finally decided to see a dermatologist and ask about Accutane.
At first, I wanted to take a low dose because I was scared of the side effects. But my dermatologist explained that taking a lower dose would make the treatment last about a year, and since I don’t have insurance and pay out of pocket for every visit, it would end up costing me a lot more.
Here’s how my journey has been so far:
1st Month – 30mgI purged really badly during the first month, but my dermatologist reassured me that it’s normal and happens to a lot of people on Accutane.
2nd Month – 60mgI switched from my regular skincare routine to a Korean skincare routine. It helped keep my skin hydrated and also helped fade my dark spots.
3rd Month – 80mgMy skin feels so much smoother and healthier now. A lot of my coworkers noticed a huge difference and told me my skin looks clearer and much better.
I’m still continuing my Korean skincare routine and honestly, I’m loving it. I’m excited to see even more improvement during months 4–6 because I still have some PIE (post-inflammatory erythema) left on my face.
Most importantly, I’m so happy that my confidence is finally coming back. I can now work, talk to people, and socialize without feeling ashamed of my skin.
For anyone currently purging or struggling with acne, hang in there. It does get better. ❤️
