not only McDonald — KAYOU x Netflix KPoP is coming
Hey everyone!
This post will compare the KPOP McDonald's collaboration card and the KAYOU card.
If you’re like me and have been obsessed with the girls ever since KPop: Demon Hunters debuted on Netflix, you definitely don’t want to miss this post.
Who is KAYOU?KAYOU is a major player in the professional card collecting world. They hold the licenses for massive IPs like Naruto and My Little Pony. Unlike "standard" printed cards, they specialize in high-tech printing—think multi-layered textures, 3D embossing, and high-end holographic finishes that are much more durable and detailed than typical promotional items.
First, lets see the McDonald’s
There are 13 official photocards to collect, HUNTR/X, Saja Boys and plus rare chase cards.

And then see the KAYOU

What are numbered limited cards?
(These cards are printed with unique serial numbers on the surface. Every single limited card has its own exclusive number, which means the total production quantity is fixed and strictly controlled. Once sold out, they will never be reprinted. They are super rare, highly precious and have great collections and commemorative value.)
A lot of us started our collections with the McDonald's collab, now it's important to understand not only the difference in 13 v.s. 100+ styles, but also the technical jump here:
KAYOU’s designs lean into the show’s core: stage moments, iconic battles, and key story beats. Each rarity has a clear theme, so you’re collecting the series’ story, not just faces.
Use thick, professional cardstock with premium finishes like holographic foil, embossing, and special prints.
KAYOU’s set is officially licensed, with rare promos like the PR cards only available through special offers. These hits will hold appeal for both IP fans and collectors long-term.
