Now, we all know about the famous motto that Dutch imparts on the imprisoned Kieran at the end of the “Old Friende” mission: “We shoot fellers as need shooting… save fellers as need saving… and feed em as need feeding.”

Flash forward to the end of “Paying a Social Call,” and what does Kieran do? He shoots the O’Driscoll hiding in the cabin, saves Arthur in the process and feeds the whole gang with the money he reveals in the chimney.

The boy was right: he truly was more of a van der Linde than an O’Driscoll in the end.
