Orange-style amp with a preamp 12AX7, PI 12AT7, two EL84’s and an OPT for a Laney. Makes around 15W. Used a bunch of cheapo parts and a bunch of old russian/czechoslovakian parts. Plan to add a real nice faceplate, a pretty Fender style grille and some nice knobs. Has a real nice british-mid bite.
Hi, yesterday I was at a concert in Olomouc, Czechia. From what I’ve read, Ian Anderson is strongly opposed to AI. Last song was Locomotive Breath and throughout the whole show they had this big screen behind them on which they showed visuals. Most of them were really cool, showing old recordings from gigs, but at Locomotive Breath, they just played a lot of AI generated steam trains, which just ruined the experience, from my field of view. Just wanted to throw this in here, what do you guys think about this?
Czechoslovak Jolana Hurricane II, borrowed from my dad to get some job done (rewiring, putting back on the original pickguard) The only thing missing is a bit of the bridge and the bridge pickup.
I’ve had this old Fender footswitch from a FM212 for a pretty long time and it’s just collecting dust on my desk. What do you think I could do with it to make it at least a tad bit useful?
Swapped out a pickup, had a lot of fun with spray paint and made it more interesting and little less chaotic :)
Copy of the good old Fuzzface, tweeked with the values for a bit and used a pair of some nice old Tesla transistors (GC508’s) :)
