where to find historians

i want to start using quotes/interpretations from named historians to back up and develop my points in essays, but where do i find them without reading entire books and how do i format them for revision? i was thinking using flashcards but idk

this also goes for my coursework (i do AQA) and i am using JSTOR and google scholar but i can't find anything specific - should i use different keywords or do something else?

english lit coursework texts

Hi i'm in year 12 doing AQA B english lit and for one of my coursework essays i need 1 poetry collection. My teacher forced us to pick out of the texts he wanted us to and so i ended up with Carol Ann Duffy's Feminine Gospels which ngl is quite boring. I've written by second draft of this essay and i am finding it so dull and difficult since i don't like the collection. Does anyone have any ideas of other more interesting poetry collections i could use instead?

It must fit with one of the following critical theories: feminism, post-colonialism, ecocriticism, literary value and the canon, and ideas about narrative (i have already used marxism for my prose essay so cannot use that again)
