Hi, does anyone want to talk or text about life and other stuff? I am 29y old female, studying psychology and s3xology, interested as well: AI, ASD, poetry, uncanny places to see, cats, mental health.

I am a bit depressed and beyond bored, I don't want to talk to the same 2 friends and bother them with my problems. I would like to meet cool people to talk to, share ideas and support each other when needed.

I (an adult) told my aunt that I have had passive suicidal thoughts since childhood.

Her response was: "it's not always about you."

That's it. That's the whole response.

For context she is also my godmother.

Am I overreacting in thinking this was not the ideal response to that disclosure?

Additional info: I have undergone many therapies and have been under psychiatric care since the age of 16. At present, I have diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, complex PTSD, and anxiety-depressive disorders. Due to my intellectual abilities, my family always minimized my difficulties at school.
