Cultural Differences in Modality Preference

I’m curious how cultural background intersects with modality preference. This is not research or anything - I thought it would be fun to see if there are any common threads or patterns.

I’ll go first!

Late Start Veggie Garden

I’m looking for some planting suggestions. I live in the US, zone 5. I have a small garden area for vegetables. Maybe 10-15 sq feet. I planned to start it early with all the usual suspects (tomatoes, peppers, and so forth) but my mental health tanked and the only thing I got planted was a couple cucumbers. I’m in a better place now and would love a reason to be outside working in the evenings. Any suggestions on what can still be planted?

School Resource Officer

Partner is currently on patrol, really wanting to go to a school resource position. I’m helping to prepare for the panel interviews. What kind of questions should I be throwing out there to help them prepare?

Video Present

I kind of remember there being an episode where they make a video montage as a present. It’s supposed to be talking heads saying what the person means to them but ends up being a hilariously bad train wreck. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Staying Cool at Busch

My mom (70F) is a big Cardinals fan but has never been to a game. I am planning to take her and my teen to a Cardinals game at Busch in late July. We have bleacher seats. It’s a daytime game. All things she required for her ultimate experience.

I’m looking for tips on staying cool. I know we can bring in factory sealed drinks and cooling towels. Can you bring in hand held misting fans?

Does anyone have any other tips?
