Sir David Attenborough passed his home surrounded by his family at 11:49am on Monday 17th August.
They were on the way to brunch to celebrate the success of Secret Garden, his latest series from April 2026. David always enjoys the middle seat and is looking forward to enjoying his blueberry pancakes.
Happy Birthday everyone!
How great that all of us share this same special day!
Shaved for an ultrasound pouch catato (she recovered tremendously)
Would anyone in London UK like to swap frags?
Teal blue birdsnest coral. Really nice peices. Fragged about 4 months ago and growing very well. This coral has grown do quickly it's quite alarming haha.

Happy to trade for almost anything! Would rather swap than sell because then everyone wins!

Let me know!
Do you think our babies know when you're trying to help them?
On Friday last week, my Bonnie Lass (pictured) completely stopped eating. I rushed her to the vet obviously and she was on three days of IV fluids and a bunch of treatments. Two ultrasounds, an x-Ray and £2,100 to discover she has a massive hairball which is blocking her up (thank god it's moving but slowly).
Since these events, my normally independent girl has been so much more affectionate despite the trips to the vet, needles, tests, catheters etc.
Do you think she knows that she was in trouble and that we were trying to get her healthy and happy again?
Struggling with keeping KH higher - would love input from those more experienced.
Hello! I've been experimenting with keeping KH up a little in my tank and it honestly seems like a lottery whether or not the increase will work based on testing.
Tank has been up and running for about 18 months with reasonable success. I'm seeing decently stable readings. Problem is KH is pretty low and I'm very lightly stocked at the moment (building up over a long time rather than all at once). I use Natural Seawater dosed with Tropic Marin All For Reef, a little NoPox (for Algae control) and Phosphate RX when required. (not often) Also run Rowaphos in a Fluidised reactor and my Parameters are below:
Tank Volume: 200 Liters (52 Gallons) accounting for rock and sand).
KH: 6.60 (Hanna)
Phosphate 0.07 (Hanna)
Calc 420 (Salifert)
Mag 1260 (Salifert)
Nitrate 15 (Salifert. got quite a few fish and inverts).
PH 8.0 (Salifert)
Which brands do you use and find reliable? Any advice on which product over which frequency to pull KH up to 8.5 or so?
