Need a recommendations for a cheaper model (most likely used) minivan that can handle daily driving

My husband just became a Hospice nurse. this requires tons of driving. Unfortunately, we cannot afford 2 car payments right now, so he will be taking the newer van. We need a van to fit our family. We currently have a 2014 Chrysler town and country that was given to us by my in-laws. It is absolutely falling apart. One “fun” feature it does is it just dies out at red lights, while stuck in traffic, pretty much anytime we are stopped. Sometimes it will turn back on immediately, other times it takes almost a minute. Then we get angry honks behind us. Our budget looks to be able to fit around 350-450 a month. Thanks!

Nurse, sole provider, trying to decide if I should take this new job, or stay at my current one

I am an RN with 1 year experience. I am the sole provider. I have a connection that was able to get me into a hospice case manager position Monday to Friday 8 to 5 without needing a ton of experience (our area most hospice nurse jobs require 2+ years experience). The position is offering $85,000 salary starting. The only thing I am concerned about is the benefits are pretty expensive. 889 for health, plus an additional 70 for dental/vision for family health coverage. So about $959 a paycheck.

My current job has great benefits, around 450 a paycheck. I make $39/hr. The issue though is since I am an RN, I am paid hourly and sometimes I will only be on the schedule for and paid for 65 to 72 hrs a paycheck. So sometimes my paychecks are (After taxes and insurance) 2100 and sometimes 2300. Yes, I could pick up an extra shift but another reason I am considering the case management job is I have a terrible back that makes my current very physical job extremely hard. So my quality of life will be better in the case management position.

My in-laws have suggested looking into plans through healthcare.gov but I’m not sure if it will be that much cheaper, but I don’t know. We are a family of 6.

Thank you!

Opinions on NE side neighborhoods?

Specifically Ventura neighborhood? Seeing some decent prices in that neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods for homes.

Thanks!

Hot Water Heater leaked and now hallway carpet needs fixed

We had an unfortunate situation where our hot water heater leaked while we were sleeping. It leaked down our hallway and we had to rip up the carpet and padding underneath. Has anyone had something like this happen before? How much do you think it would cost to redo the carpet just in a hallway? Its just cement underneath not floorboards.

Thanks!
