There are some of these claims that I see from this one Thapar guy who makes content on Instagram.

This guy claims in his Videos that he pays his own fees (academic+hostel) without parents assistance.

Just want to put it out there I did some check

This person who claims in Insta that he pays all fees by himself has also been applying for MCM scholarships. (MCM applications highly selective income, cgpa seen)

If you're actually self-funding your fees, you wouldn't need / wouldn't qualify for MCM. And if you need MCM, you probably don't have that much to blow on other items like drinks/supplements/MACBook etc. Both can't be true at the same time.

Just saying don't fall for the self-made claims on social media. Lot of it is just content.

Also another batch of people say they have Patents with them. LMFAO there is a way difference between filing patents and being granted. You file a patent in 2021 but say in Instagram videos that you have innovative 2-3 Patents. Let's not mislead people. Same AI Slop content i see in Linkedin.

EDIT: Let me help you how to do such Search: All I can say that do these things:

1. Find their names and Roll numbers
2. use LLM or online reverse their search names and roll number
3. I did the same I saw 2 people name names They claimed in Linkedin they paid their semester fees without parents and AI slop content of some courses they made using AI. 😂🤣
4. Now I found their names with their corresponding roll numbers and brach in MCM applicants list.
5. When someone who claims paying from their own packets why are they applying for MCM because I know income proof needed? I also know they didnt get MCM scholarship since its highly selective.

After coming across some Reddit posts here all I can say is firstly, random shortlists happen. Luck is also major a factor. This isn't even placements yet. If it's unfair now, later will be worse. You can't change the system overnight. So change your move.

If someone cheats or cuts corners? You either adapt or stay behind. There is no third option. Or stay same and get same results. Control what you can control.

I’m a junior this semester and something’s been bothering me since before holidays. A senior student fabricated a fake medical certificate to get makeup tests and I grade bump. It’s not rumor some professor and upper administration got notice of it.

Problem is that nothing has happened yet. I think they don’t realize how serious this is. As a junior this directly concerns me. If people can submit fake docs and cheat their way through exams and boast this around others and admin doesn’t act fast what’s the point for the rest of us who actually show up and maintain to follow the rules of college? It rewards dishonesty. I just want them to be honest evaluators instead of letting it slide.

Edit: I didn't mean that those in admin aren't able to grasp if the documents are true or false but some professor knowing that they are actually fake is actually shielding this person. This isn't first time the person has done this. It's just the person is immune to be caught even if the document the person brings seems questionable to the reader.

Edit: All I wanted to tell that the question isn't only questioning authenticity but those in the higher ups who actually know this is fake are quiet. This puts not only the accused but others equally as part with silence. And this is what the Prof told the class.
