Anyone here who submitted their CSP between 2nd–4th June ’26 through VFS Bangalore?

Have you been able to get past the preliminary review and book your biometrics appointment yet? Just trying to get an idea of the current timeline.

Has anyone who submitted their CSP through VFS Bangalore at the end of May or June received a visa appointment yet?

I'm trying to understand the current preliminary review timelines because mine hasn't moved yet.

My timeline:

• CSP submitted: 9 June
• Status: Still in preliminary review

If you submitted around the same time, could you share:

• CSP submission date
• Whether you've received a visa slot yet
• If yes, when did you get it

It would really help get a realistic idea of the current processing times instead of just guessing. Thanks!

Anyone applying for a German student visa through the new CSP portal from Bengaluru recently?

My situation: CSP application fully completed

However, before even reaching document verification/biometrics/VFS appointment, I was automatically placed on a waiting list.

Current status says:

"German mission is at full capacity"
"Waiting time approx. 2–8 weeks"

So as far as I understand, my application has not yet been submitted to the consulate for processing. I'm waiting for CSP to allow me to proceed to the next stage.

A few questions:
1.⁠Is anyone else seeing the same waiting-list status at Bengaluru right now?

1. ⁠How long did it actually take for your waiting-list status to clear?
2. ⁠Did you receive a confirmation email immediately after joining the waiting list, or only later?
3. ⁠After the waiting list cleared, what happened next — VFS appointment booking or direct submission?

Would appreciate hearing from anyone who applied recently through the Bengaluru mission.

I’m worried looking at the 8week timeline 😭😭
that too just to submit the application …booking slot for biometrics would be a nightmare !!
