So a little bit about this ACEO. I first carved the beetle as a Linoprint and then hand printed it on to the paper and then painted it. It looks way better in person. I love the way it came out.

Who remembers this movie?! I just came across it on Tubi and had the biggest flash back. My brother and I loved this movie and would rent it at the video store all the time.
I watched a little bit of it and it’s soo terrible. Still nostalgic to see though.

My latest linoprint “White-top Pitcher Plant”.

The White-top Pitcher Plant is a carnivorous, herbaceous perennial indigenous to the Florida Panhandle, prized for its striking white-topped pitchers with red/purple venation. It is listed as endangered in Florida.

They’re so SHINY!!
These ACEOs were made in such a fun way. I did a cyanotype using stickers, painting them with watercolor very lightly for just a little bit of color, used some metallic pens to highlight areas, and covered with a holographic film. I think I need to make a video of this process for everyone. So let me know if you’re interested in that.
But this is the outcome and they’re so much fun.

I have two ideas for these pages. One is each mirror is a mirror to another world. Or I can make it like a cryptic page of souls being trapped in the mirrors.

Which version do you like better? I could perhaps do both and each page has its own. One of world and one of souls?
