I bought this for my mom's birthday, and while it shoots great, it's had a solid 80% failure rate with anything that's not my buddy's +p hand loads. Should I get some more hot ammo and try to break it in, or send it to FN for warranty?

I can't get any form of rear sight to work on this thing. The irons kept coming loose, and my red dot just straight up sheared off. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this gun with this problem, and how you fixed it.
