This has surprised me.

Have been having the Lego S z1e for a little over a week now. I got it open box (good) from Best Buy . I Love my Switch 2 but I’ve been so impressed with how good this thing runs some of my favorite PC games and some games I’ve been wanting to start.

I really love this game!

I bought this game for switch 2 after checking out the demo. Even at 30 frames I was hooked and ended up finishing the campaign while I was on a two week vacation. Wanted to see what it was running like on my PC so picked it up for that when I got back. Well since I’ve gotten my Legion Go S z1e I can’t put it down ! It makes me want to check out Monster Hunter since people say it’s similar but anime and check out the whole GBF world!

This game has turned me onto a whole new genre for me.

Here’s some handheld to play. I also played on my TV and my monitor and with wired and wireless connection. It all played great. I’ve never played a souls game or souls like up until a few days ago when I started playing Lies of P. This is an amazing game to be on an only on a Switch 2. I can’t wait until the full release.

Switch 2: The Ultimate Traveling Handheld!

I just got back from a 2 week long trip to Europe with the Switch 2 and Im officially convinced this is the best handheld to travel with. I’ve had the Switch Lite on trips where you get great portability but lacks in power. I’ve had the Switch OLED , where you get great visibility in places where it’s not always great but the feel of the it felt more like a toy to me. But with the Switch 2, you get great form factor , not too light and not too heavy. You get many ways to play , whether that be handheld , table top, or bring a minimal style dock with you to hook up to TVs. You get a great screen ( I know by today’s standards it’s not amazing , but I will take a larger screen with great color accuracy over the OLED screen any day. And last but not least, you get really good ability to play all sorts of games. From AAA to Indie , it all plays and looks great. Even If, some games run at a solid 30. I left my PC and ps5 at home and never thought to myself one time that I was missing out on some good gaming experiences .

Added Info: The thing thats holding my switch 2 on the back of seats is the flight flap pro. They are fairly inexpensive for what it allows you to do. There are cheaper ones but I bought the pro to make sure it could hold it solidly .

And also I wouldn’t travel with anything less than the Dbrand Killswitch Case. The added grips, stick covers, and hard shell over the top is really the ultimate protection and addition to long travels. And when not moving, I put the Mobapads back on and is the best handheld experience for me. Over the Hyperions. Still waiting on the Nitro Deck 2.

Happy Gaming Everyone!

The Switch 2 is making me reevaluate framerate

I want to start by saying that for a long time I didn't think about framerate or graphical fidelity at all until I started watching people play games online. It started with seeing the difference in COD being played on PC versus console. I got a PC in October 2024, and I was amazed by how sharp games looked, with the framerate being pretty insane. I have a high mid tier pc ( 7800xt, 7800x3d, 32 GB RAM), so I can really run just about anything off of pure rasterization. I stopped buying games on PlayStation 5 if I could avoid it. I wanted all the fidelity, all of the frames.

Now, I've had a switch for a long time in some form. I had the Switch Lite, the Switch OLED, and now the Switch 2, but I have only really used it for first-party games and little indie games. Even then, I never finished playing games like BOTW because the stuttering framerates bothered me more than I thought. Fast forward to the present day, and the Switch 2 runs these games like a champ. But, in the past, I thought I had a problem with 30fps, but now I have a problem with unstable frames, under 30fps. A lot of games go up and down so much when things get crazy. But now, with the switch 2 a solid 30 fps, is really all some games need.

I want to give an example of the game that really made me realize this. I recently bought GranBlue Fantasy Relink on Switch 2. The game is amazing and runs at a solid 30 no matter what's going on on the screen. But I wanted to compare it to PC. I get about 100-110 frames on ultra settings in 1440p. While I loved the smoothness and I love the little bit more sharpness, getting to play handheld at a solid 30 does not change my experience much AT ALL. I know a lot of people say " 30 fps is literally unplayable," and I really think that is overexaggerated. You can def prefer higher frames, but unplayable... NOT IN THE SLIGHEST. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
