I've seen some brand-new accounts blow up almost overnight, while others post consistently for months and barely get any traction. Do you think TikTok still gives small creators a fair shot, or has it become much harder to grow organically than it used to be? What has your experience been?
Lately I've been seeing a lot of people on TikTok claiming they made five or even six figures within a few months through digital marketing. But when I check what they're actually selling, it's usually courses, coaching, roadmaps, or other digital products that teach people how to do the same thing.
That makes me wonder is this a legitimate business model, or does it mostly work because people keep selling the idea of making money through digital marketing? I'm genuinely curious if anyone here has real experience with it.
I've been posting consistently for about a week, but my videos are barely getting any views. I've tried using relevant hashtags, good keywords, trending music, and followed a lot of the advice I've found online, but nothing seems to be working.
Is this just because my account is new, or am I missing something important? I'd really appreciate any practical tips from people who've been through the same thing.
I know a like is just a like but some of them stick with you.
For me, getting a like from a creator I'd been watching for years honestly made my whole day. It didn't change my views or followers, but it felt like someone I looked up to actually noticed my content.
When I was in 5th grade, a girl one year older than me called me ugly and made fun of me for being poor. She laughed at my jacket and even said her jacket was worth more than me. I never made fun of her back or said anything about how she looked.
A few months ago, I downloaded TikTok again and saw her on my FYP. It was just a simple lip-sync video, but it had gone viral. Everyone was calling her beautiful, and it looked like she was living a great life.
Meanwhile, I'm still struggling, and I still remember what she said to me all those years ago. Maybe I'm too sensitive, but seeing her go viral brought back a lot of old feelings. It just feels really unfair sometimes.
I used to have an older account where my videos would usually get around 200–300 views. After taking a break, I started a new account, and now I'm struggling to even reach 50 views. My last couple of videos didn't get pushed out at all and literally ended up with 0 views.
Am I the only one? Is tiktok gone for good?
For me, it's the videos involving child exploitation, fake begging, and obvious scam content. It feels like these types of videos keep getting pushed because they generate views and sympathy, even when they're misleading or exploitative.
Anyways what are trends you'll like to never see it?
We're a small skincare company looking to promote our products through tiktok for the first time. We've never worked with influencers before, so we're trying to understand what a realistic budget looks like.
Can you all suggest me othet options for this summer
