Failed MTX treatment 3 weeks later

Dx with ectopic july 23, given MTX july 24th and discharged home from hospital. Hcg has always downtrended well, 4300, 3400, 2100, 1100, 322, then 262. However, all along having random sudden bursts of the most horrendous pains. The worst cramping, ectopic right sided pain radiating into back, lightning bolt sensations in vagina and rectum and simply couldn't escape the pains. Bleeding would ramp up during, then let up in between on my "good days". Though I was constantly tired, dizzy, weak. I would go a few days in between these pain episodes but when they struck they came out of nowhere and were completely debilitating. Even oxycodone did nothing. I was seen in the ED for one such episode August 2nd and told basically my US at that point was unchanged, and I was likely having mass effect and reabsorption pain and it was normal.

So the following several episodes i toughed out at home thinking it was still normal until the latest caused me to pass several clots and tons of blood and at this point i was at the 3 week post treatment mark. So i went in to the ER thinking i possibly had retained clots or tissue. Nope, my ectopic over doubled in its original size, despite the hcg downtrend, and needed same day surgery to remove my right tube.

All this to say, even if your hcg is going down....if you're still having significant pain events in the weeks following your MTX treatment advocate for repeat US as well. I was lucky to have not ruptured but the delay in finding this caused a lot of scarring to my ovary and uterus wall. Prayers for everyone walking through this. After a month I can finally close this chapter definitively and start to heal and move forward.

Working through my ectopic while both of my sisters are pregnant

My younger sister told me she was pregnant as soon as she found out. I was elated for her. Then I surprisingly became pregnant as well and based on dates, we were 11 weeks apart almost exactly.

I unfortunately discovered I had an ectopic in my 6th week, was hospitalized, monitored, and ultimately given MTX and sent home. It's been difficult and my younger sister felt horrible and guilty and didnt want to break my heart by continuing to share her journey with me as I go through mine.

My mom flew in from out of state to be with me as I'm recovering from MTX and just to be here. That's when my older sister FaceTimes me. Shes been told she's unable to get pregnant for 7+ years after having her 2 children, has PCOS, ect. God gave her a miracle and she is pregnant. And she's due a week after I was.

I'm simultaneously thrilled for both of them but absolutely gutted at the same time. It feels so cruel to be on this path. To watch both of my sisters pregnant and having their children while I spend the next couple of months ensuring I successfully lose mine.

I know this isnt the end for me. I have the most beautiful little girl I could have prayed for and I am so thankful. But with no risk factors for ectopic, and on the heels of what was a very normal and uncomplicated pregnancy with my first, this has been so jarring. And it terrifies me to try ever again.

Praying for all walking on this path, it sucks so bad. But we'll get through it.

Thoughts

At 6w1d, I started having dark brown spotting. Very light, but by day 3 changed to maroon. Still very light, just staining a liner, but it has persisted for several days. No cramping. Went in for TV US yesterday at 6w3d when i had the color change, and no definite sac identified. hcg today at 6w4d, 3059. I have a repeat draw on Friday. OB prepared me for a MC but also worried about possible ectopic. But also said maybe just too early to see anything.

LMP 6/6, first positive test june 30th. Feeling very much like this isnt going to work out, but if anyone has had similar instance and had a viable pregnancy I'd love to hear it.

Westminster Child Care Center or Foundations CDC

Who has current/prior experience with either of these facilities? I'm on a spiral looking at their recent inspections with them allegedly having their licenses on probation? I dont know enough to know what that really means. But I have these at the top of my list and need to know if I need to reevaluate for my toddler. Thanks!

We are brand new to VA and have a couple of areas on our property we'd like to improve with native plants and vegetation.

One being the cleared strip underneath our pine trees, where they laid our underground power. What perennials grow well under pines in partial shade?

Second, and more pressing to us, is this large ares of cleared wooded land where they put in our well. Its rough, uneven due to construction disturbance. Ive never had a well, so also unsure what/if you can plant around one. There is a mix of native soil, gravel from I'm assuming the well drilling, and lots of new clay. Its barren except for some stumps and a few seedling trees and weeds. We'd ultimately like to see this turn into a natural meadow type situation but have no idea where to start. Thank you!!
