Not charging yet constant green light

I've replaced every single component, including the motherboard, charging port, battery, and charger. My 2011 8,1 MacBook Pro refuses to charge no matter what components I change, still the same behavior, charger has a constant green light yet no charging has occurred. Right now it's plugged in with a brand new battery I drained of what remaining energy it had stored, same behavior. I'm tired, I've spent so much time and money and this little aluminum jerk refuses to play ball.

It's not meant for a daily driver, I already have a proper modern desktop for most tasks, it's a rather sentimental attachment to the MacBook that makes me want to keep it going.

What are these springed nibs and what do they do?

What are these spring nibs across the underside of the IO ports on the non retina MacBook Pros?

Could they cause a port to not function?

Is this normal? It stays green or sometimes even orange for a minute after I unplug it. Did my MacBooks battery or some other component damage my charger? This is an original charger my grandpa bought for me 5 years ago, I rarely use it as I've been restoring my 2011 MacBook Pro during that time, still on the original battery, good quality ones don't ship here and bad quality do but they're bad quality for a reason.

Also, it'll glow very dimly at times when I plug it.

In the connected picture, the charging indicator will only blink the following dot the first time it connects and then not blink again.

I've replaced the logic board with other spares, replaced the charging port with other original ones and even "aftermarket" new ones. The charger has almost no use and I have no other battery to test. Also, it's 15 years old but still holds a charge good enough for 1 hour of constant use on Linux.

▲ 1 r/Boots

Out of all the boots by Lahors these ones seem to be the best, judging by the pictures I find of them they seem the least overglued or asymmetrical construction between left and right boots.
