PSA - wipers on, lights on
So many cars today in North Jersey don’t have their headlights on, in the POURING rain.
You are nearly INVISIBLE in a truck’s rear view mirror if you don’t have your lights on.
That is all.

I’m a Catholic but an RCIA (adult) Catholic. But I was baptized in the Presbyterian church. What bothers me is the increasing alignment of the Catholic Church with MAGA in the USA and their attacks on LGBT, particularly T. I am MTF.
I’ve found that the Presbyterian Church in the USA (PCUSA) and the United Church of Canada both support and affirm LGBT people and identities.
So I’m thinking of leaving and returning to the Presbyterian Church. I am American, Canadian, half (Asian) Indian and was born in Trinidad and Tobago. PCUSA and the United Church of Canada seem to welcome me, why would I stay Catholic?
Anyone else wrestled with this?
Looks like PERM is the next target. Hopefully the rule isn’t wimpy and full of holes like the 100k fee rule.
But if they require them to actually attempt to hire Americans and show proof, this would be a great step.
A rule I would also like to see is no company that has had layoffs should be eligible to sponsor PERM for at least 10 years.
Of interest here is Neeraj Sharma, CEO of Magnavision:
Neeraj Sharma, a native of 1ndia, was both the owner and chief executive officer of Magnavision LLC, a staffing company located in New Jersey. As an officer of Magnavision LLC, Sharma signed and filed eleven fraudulent H-1B visa petitions with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”). Each petition included false representations that the visa beneficiaries would be employed with a particular global financial institution, and also included letters on official corporate letterhead with forged signatures of the executives. In 2017, Sharma applied for naturalization, and under penalty of perjury, falsely asserted that he had never: (a) committed a crime or offense for which he was not arrested; (b) given any U.S. Government officials any information or documentation that was false or misleading; and (c) lied to any U.S. Government official to gain immigration benefits. Based on these material falsehoods, USCIS approved his application, and Defendant became a U.S. citizen in December 2017. Subsequently, Defendant was convicted of Fraud and Misuse of Visas, in violation of 8 U.S.C. § 1546, with the date of offense between April 25, 2015, through April 27, 2017. The United States seeks to revoke Defendant’s naturalization, pursuant to 8 U.S.C. § 1451(a), as an alien who illegally procured his naturalization by: (1) failing to disclose unlawful acts; (2) providing false testimony; and (3) concealment of a material fact and willful misrepresentation.
H-1B 100,000 fee is struck down temporarily for now. Same judge that threw out birthright citizenship executive order.
Basically less H1B from South Asia leads to a housing bust. But what they won't tell you is that housing prices skyrocketed because of mass immigration.
The very same thing that is happening in Canada and shutting out young Canadians from home ownership.
Turns out there IS a solution to the housing crisis, but they don't want to hear it.
I found it interesting that other countries in the Indian diaspora have different names for this day. Jamaica calls it “Indian Heritage Day” for example.
In any case it is without a doubt a significant milestone in the history of Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean.
I can believe this! Change your name to a high caste Telugu or Gujarati name, and you get by the rejection filter.
They give you only 6, but
They don’t Check them and they have no way to know you photocopied extra. The QR code just goes to the SNHU website.
lol for next time
