Hi! As the title suggest, i 3D printed this cover for the dial solving for me two main issues:
- You cannot place the Dial on a mousepad or similar surface without getting some dust stuck on the device sticky material
- You cannot travel with It comfortable, i just grab the box and the sticker but hell nah, this is better
Its just a circle with a small dent to fit perfect the Dial, also added 3 anti slip stickers to improve the twist response (was not necessary, but just in case)
The thing sticks to the base of the Dial and has enough strength to stay even inside my travel backpack
Hello everyone! Im here because recently y got my hands on this 15" beauty!! I'm absolutely in love with how It works, detaches as a gigantic tablet and how stylish It looks. I sold my old MSI gaming laptop (this has same specs but better) and I've also bought all the accesories since im planning to draw a bit and also use It as a convenient portable laptop (my old one weighted 3kg+)
While im waiting for the surface dock to arrive I tried today to connect to an external display to test out how well It handles as a proper desk laptop
However as you can guess... No display at all.
So far I've tried to manually update the USB's on the device manager (all, because i didnt knew wich USB was)
Reinstall all the drivers from the oficial Microsoft website,
Turn off, wait, turn on holding the power button until It resets twice
Different USB-C hubs to double check (they are in the picture, maybe i just unlucky and got 3 non compatible docks??)
And before spotting this error I was feeling that Windows was a bit slow and made a clean installation
Any guesses? I would really appreciate some advice or personal experiences to try
Also if you wonder, the three hubs work with my phone, other laptop, and Nintendo switch, so i don't really know what to do Next
Appreciate the time to read guys!
Da boy is huge!! Time for the book one hahah
Sooo this is the thing. Might cause some anger and displeasure since here we're all for the wired music. But after modding an iPod Classic with bluetooth i told to myself: hey you know what your FiioX3 is missing? Bluetooth!
I added also a pairing button and an on off switch, apparently doesnt affect the sound quality of the aux and coaxial and since the switch can turn off the bluetooth you can use It as normal
Took me a while, i modded the iPod with thicker wires and after trimming some plastics and pieces manage to squeeze all on an small gap!!
The only downside is that for making It sound i need an audio jack plugged (got one Broken and placed there and does the trick)
What do you think? Was It worth It?
