Ajutor examen embrio

Multumesc!

Seeking Advice: Starting Residency (Anesthesiology/Emergency Medicine) in Switzerland as a Romanian Graduate

Hi everyone,

I am currently a medical student in Romania (Galati) and I’m starting to plan my career path post-graduation. My goal is to move to Switzerland to start my residency directly there, without doing it in Romania first.

I am specifically interested in Anesthesiology or Emergency Medicine.

I am highly motivated and willing to invest the time to learn the language at a professional level. I haven't picked a specific canton yet because I am open to learning either German or French (or both if necessary) to reach the required C1 level.

I have a few questions for those who have taken this path or are familiar with the Swiss system:

  1. Direct Entry: How realistic is it to get a residency spot in Anesthesia or ER right after graduation as an EU citizen (Romanian diploma)?

  2. Language/Region: Between the German-speaking and French-speaking parts, which one currently has a higher demand or is more "welcoming" to international medical graduates (IMGs)?

  3. Training Centers: What are the chances of getting into a "Category A" hospital (large university centers) vs. starting in a smaller "Category B" hospital to get my foot in the door?

  4. The MEBEKO Process: For those who graduated in the EU, how long did the diploma recognition take for you?

  5. Preparation: Besides language, what can I do now during my clinical years in Romania to make my CV stand out for Swiss Chiefs of Departments? (e.g., specific internships, BLS/ALS certifications, etc.)

I am looking for a system with high standards, great working conditions, and a focus on patient care, and from my research, Switzerland seems to be the best fit.

Thanks in advance for any insights or advice!

Rezi in alta tara

Buna!!

Mi as dori sa plec in alta tara unde sunt conditii si unde chiar am oportunitatea sa invat ceva. M ar ajuta mai multe informatii daca aveti si sunteti dispusi sa ma ajutati. Va multumesc!!

I have my embriology exam in about 2 months and i have about 500 pages to study. I dont know where to start since i spent all the semester procrastinating in bed. I want to hear some motivational stuff to get me up and ready to get good grades to earn a scolarship. (Oh and besides that i have 10 more exams but embriology is the hardest)

Am i in the wrong place?
