So redditors, I had a rental cheque bounce last month because of a salary delay from my company. I was under the impression that bounced cheques aren't a criminal offense anymore so I thought I had time to sort it out with the landlord. Well, turns out under the updated commercial code, the landlord didn't even file a police case, he just took the stamped bounced cheque straight to the court execution judge as an executive instrument. Within 48 hours my bank account got frozen and an attachment order was placed on my salary. Can anyone explain how execution orders work for bounced cheques now? do I have to pay the court directly to unfreeze my account or talk to the landlord's lawyer?

So recently, I moved out of my place 6 weeks ago, handed the keys back, cleared dewa, and left it completely clean. now my landlord is basically ignoring my texts and when he finally replied he said he's keeping my entire 7k deposit for repairs and repainting which is total bs cause it’s literally just normal wear and tear from living there for 2 years. I told him I'm gonna take him to rdc and he literally just said go ahead.

Has anyone here actually fought their landlord over a deposit at the rental dispute center and actually won? did you have to pay a ton in typing fees or translation for whatsapp messages? just wanna know if it’s even worth the effort and stress or if I should just take the loss and move on.

Watched part of the game outside in the middle of the afternoon and expected the screen to be hard to see, it wasn’t.
