All of this was built in Survival using only things I collected myself, no Entities. I had to take a couple of liberties, of course, but... I think it turned out pretty well.
Was talking with someone on Discord about custom Spider textures, and I looking at the spider thorax and the complex detailing they were doing for it, I had an idea - what if you could make Hytale spiders somehow WORSE by giving them block textures on parts of their bodies, like adaptive camouflage. That way adventurers and explores (aka prey) might not realize it's a spider when you first see it.
This is a shitty MS Paint 'proof of concept' I whipped up using some google'd resources, but you get the general idea.
I posted a few pics the other day and people seemed interested, so I did a recorded walkthrough of my progress so far.
I'm on a server and have been slowly hollowing out an iceberg and building a city underground. The pics are a little old, most of them are from when I completed the second floor and took people on a tour. Right now, I'm just working on the central "chamber", which is designed a bit like a shopping mall (or Deep Space 9), with walkways around an open exposed "magic tree" core that (in canon) supplies power to the city and regulates the temperature inside the habitat.
So far I have 3 floors dug out, with another two planned. The first floor is red-themed, and since it's the easiest to access, it's got shops and a proper tavern for visitors to interact with. The second floor (yellow) is the residential zone, with houses, apartments, and a campground. The third floor (no real pictures yet) is all crops and farms, designed to produce everything the city inhabitants would want or need.
The final two floors, Blue and Purple, are going to be city services (jail, guards, various offices), and a magic university with classrooms and potions and a gigantic library
All this has been dug completely out by hand, killing 12 (at current count) Adamantite pickaxes, and then built by hand. All materials have been collected in Survival mode by me and another helpful player.
I've had no admin or mod help (I did not want any)... aside from the server owner spawning in some NPCs to "operate" my shops and make the city look a little more lively and adding some fish to my aquariums
I have been on Google Pixels for years now but have ordered my very first Galaxy Z Flip and I was looking into case options, and discovered something that made my 1990s teen heart a'flutter - a transparent neon green case.
Only problem is that it appears to be available for a ton of different versions of the phone, all the way up to... Galaxy Z Flip 6, and my soon -to-arrive phone is a 7.
I've been driving myself crazy all day trying to find one with the same material and look that's for the 7, but am having no luck. I can't tell if it does not exist at all, or the internet is just so badly broken anymore that it is impossible to find anything that you are searching for. unless it is something actively being advertised to you.
Do any of you that have been in the Galaxy Z Flip game for a while have recommendations? Places i can check, search terms, online sellers outside of Amazon/Ebay/AliExpress worth searching?
