I posted this short on my 30th day! WOW

ORIGINAL-ish content. Cat account and this short I sort of tricked the audience (emotionally) and man did it work!

I know this isn’t a lot of views but I don’t care it’s MASSIVE for me. My previous shorts sit around 1.2-4K views so I’m considering this a breakout lol.

Got a decent number of Subs too! Imagine that many people in my apartment to look at my cat! Impossible!!

(I sometimes use trending audio but everything else is original)

Meteor Shower Peak is tonight. Anyone going?

I am planning to go to Al Quaa, I’ve never been there but I’m planning to make the trip.

I have a Corolla Cross so I might not be able to make it through the sand dunes.

Anyone with previous experience going there have any tips for me? I’d prefer not to get stuck in the middle of the desert haha

Reach flattens out at this stage. Why? Picture in comments

Basically, my skip rate is decent, it’s not below 20% but it’s not that bad either. I’ve seen other people have much higher skip rates and their views are way higher so I’m just confused.

Account has been active for about 3 weeks I have 30 followers and 98-99% of my views are from non followers.

Also : my reach never gets a second wind. Less than 24 hours in it flattens out and never moves again

My niche is cat voiceovers - I do the voiceovers myself- all original content - zero AI

Views down 90%

I’m a VERY new account this is my third week. I have 26 followers. My niche is talking cat skits (i do the voiceover myself). The voiceovers are original content.

I think my content is decent (as do we all) at first I had views barely cross 3-400 then I learnt about skip rates and hooks. Changed the hook and BAM 1-1.8K views on each reel after that with one hitting a modest (wild for me) 3.4K

Recently however, same format, same hook and I’ve barely been crossing past 200.

I have tried posting different formats, experimenting with trending audios etc but no dice. My account is pretty new so I’d understand if the algorithm didn’t know who to send my content to but I just don’t understand how my retention dropped so hard.

I haven’t changed my posting times at all. I have 13 posts so I’m not being too hard on myself I’m just confused as to why the sudden shift all of a sudden.

A reel that got me 212 views on Instagram gave me 15.5K views on YouTube with 35 new subscribers.

My latest video (posted a few hours ago) that is sitting at a a healthy 161 views on insta is 1.6K on YouTube +13 new subscribers.

Now I get that the algorithm is different but I’m trying to understand what happened all of a sudden? Why is the same format content getting unusually high skip rates all of a sudden (I was between 30-45) and now it’s (60-80)

Anyone else feeling this way?

Can we not do this in the Taxi?

Got into a cab, closed the door and touched someone’s nasty used tissue.

How’s your day been so far?

I am 29 years old. I weighed 115kgs(250lbs) about 6 months ago and I've lost almost 25 kilos (55 pounds) since then.

To celebrate losing weight, I decided it was time to learn Muay Thai. Like many, I did all the normal things, I bought some gear, I did some research, I found a gym and I got ready for my first class.

Fast forward to the start of the class. The coach asks me if I'm new I say yes and he kept asking if I wanted to be in this class. I thought it was like a test or something and I was like "fuck yeah I do". Anyway. The warm up seemed weird, rolls and crawling on the floor, back rolls? I was very confused but yknow.. I'm new..what do I know?

The warm up was enough for me to get dizzy, it felt like my lungs were on fire and I decided to sit down and catch my breath. I got up after about 10 minutes and decided to participate, couldn't give up so easily.

The coach was teaching us techniques which I thought were interesting but also I thought it was weird that we hadn't gotten our hand wraps on yet. It was more about grabbing your opponent. Again I thought this was normal or at least an extended warm up or something. 15 minutes into me being grappled by a giant, it really hits me. I'm dizzy, Ive lost all coordination and I was genuinely about to drop until my partner grabbed me and within 2 minutes I had 10 men checking in on me.

I did my research, I knew it was common to get gassed in your first session but wow. It was an eye opener. Anywho, the coach asked me to sit out the rest and only come back off I felt upto it (which I really didn't) I needed to rest and recover.

20 minutes of stupidly watching the class I realized this was not in fact a Muay Thai class it was an advanced wrestling class. The Muay Thai class was on the other side of the gym.

I have never felt more stupid in my life. I told the coach after class and he burst out laughing and went " THATS WHY I KEPT ASKING YOU IF YOURE SURE ABOUT TAKING THIS CLASS"

So..my next class is on Wednesday. Wish me luck.
