Hey y'all! Here's a little look at the revamped party menu in Cassette Beasts 2002! We’ve been doing a whole lot of overhauling on all aspects of the UI to improve usability, flow and all that good stuff. What do you think?

Beast Spotlight #6: Wereknuckle
Element: Metal
A Southpaw who has honed their combat arts, and their bodies, over many fierce battles. Their flexible metal armour plating can absorb kinetic force which can be redirected with lightning-quick punches and jabs.

Beast Spotlight #5: Gunstinger
Element: Plant
Gunstingers are known for their deadly accurate aim and strong sense of justice, oft appearing out of nowhere to defend a fellow beast in need. They can occasionally be seen posing dramatically on hilltops, capes billowing in the wind.

Beast Spotlight #4: Reapurr
Element: Beast
Reapurrs exist as a kind of naturally occurring population control in Nodnol, culling beast numbers when they grow too numerous. In their immature states, Reapurrs aren’t able to harvest most souls - only that of miniscule beasts, or perhaps large vegetables.

Beast Spotlight #3: Griffiñata
Element: Beast
Griffiñatas are commonly rumoured to be full of confectionary treats that will spill out of them if beaten - unfortunately for them, this is 100% true. Over the years, they have evolved razor sharp talons to protect themselves from potential beatings.

Beast Spotlight #2: Newtpolitan
Element: Ice
The Newtpolitan attracts potential prey with its syrupy scent and bright, appealing colouring. Any unlucky beast who takes a lick, however, will find its tongue frozen to its ice-cold skin - and at the mercy of the Newtpolitan’s unquenchable appetite.

Beast Spotlight #1: Anjelly
Element: Water
The kindly Anjelly is something of a self-proclaimed medic. They cultivate medicinal fluids in their organ sacs that they are able to inject into wounded beasts with their needle-like tails.
