Mexico vs England

Hello, not from the area , we’re visiting family and we’re looking for a family friendly place to see the game. Preferably a restaurant bar with a playground. I’m not sure if there is anyplace places like that here.

Did I overreact?

My daughter goes (went) to daycare. We’ve been picking her up earlier than usual this week because my son’s afterschool care ended even though his last day of school is today.

She has been moved to a different class and nap is ending when we’re getting there. She had just woken up so I went in to help her use the bathroom and I noticed there was a young man sleeping on the floor. I honestly kinda of blacked out because I was instantly upset confused and I should have asked for clarification on who the person was. I messaged the director and I was told it was the teacher’s 13 year old son.

It made me very uncomfortable and I pulled her from the daycare. Now I’m not accusing anyone of anything. That just seemed highly unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. My daughter or any of the other kids for that matter were not near the teachers son.

I just feel that only the professionals who have background checks and children enrolled in daycare should be in the classroom. Makes me wonder how many other times something similar has happened. With summer break was this going to be a regular occurrence.

Is that normal for daycare teachers to have there older children in the classroom. My daughter is 3 and her son was in middle school.

I always include the paraprofessional in Teacher Appreciation week. I don’t know if I’m over thinking this. I feel weird giving both teachers the same amount in gift cards. I do a higher amount for the teacher and a lesser amount for the paraprofessional. Then I feel bad because I don’t know if that makes the para feel bad.

So teachers what is the correct protocol?
