I'll start:
The Last Jedi is my least favorite sequel movie, but I think Rian Johnson did a wonderful job writing and directing Leia/Carrie.
Despite the fact I love The Force Awakens, for me, she's way more impactful and a joy to watch on screen in The Last Jedi than TFA.
The book Star Wars Bloodline shows how awesome of a leader Leia was shortly before The Force Awakens, and The Last Jedi captures that energy she had as a cunning senator for the New Republic.
Me: Guy, late 20s
Her: early 30s
A few days ago I matched with a girl, we texted and talked all night.
Two days ago, we went to the mall, got food, and she came back to my place where we yapped, made out, and discovered a million things in common, and laughed the whole time.
Context for me:
I haven't been on a date since February and have been single since late 2025.
Important context for her:
She did tell me she was talking to two different people, including me off the app, and also she got out of a shitty five year relationship this same week.
I did not get a response yesterday when asking about potential date night plans for today.
Today, I got this message:
"Hey sorry been busy. I'm pretty booked today but im down to game with you anytime I'm free!
I want to say tho...
Pls don't wait up for me in any way. I feel like if you emotionally invest in me, i will break your heart.
I adore you as a person, you are so sweet and very fun to talk to. I would definitely hang, game and bs with you in the near future."
I'm pretty blindsided by this, we were already talking fun future date ideas.
What do yall think about saying goodbye and wishing her the best of luck because of what looks like friendzoning?
Vs
Keeping a cute and fun girl for a friend even though you adore her and she'll probably date other people.
Anybody that reads this, thanks, I hope you have a blessed day.
