Hey guys. Im looking to upgrade my CPU. I currently have a 5600x. I am wondering which of the two cpus listed in the title would be a better deal. I looked online and they are a pretty similar price. Catch is that the 9800 requires a new motherboard and DDr5. So really getting the 9800 is gonna cost me about 1000ish. But I want to ask if that would be worth it.

I recently aquired a 5080 and looking to pair a cpu with it. I mostly play strategy games like the paradox and total war series. If anybody has some advice it would be well appreciated.
