What if she did this instead? [Secret Protocol Spoilers]
Instead of creating a separate Ladybug illusion, what if she combined the Fox, Ladybug, and Ox Miraculouses and projected the Ladybug illusion onto herself? Then she could apply resistance and keep reapplying it whenever she made contact with something.
That would make the illusion much more convincing and harder to detect. It still worked in the episode, but the fact that her illusion kept running away from Kung Food and avoided any physical contact probably tipped Lila off that it wasn't real.
Hot take: Marinette deserves what's coming for her [S6 finale spoilers]
For 6 seasons, Marinette has always evaded consequences for her actions. Now, it's finally catching up to her.
This time, she didn't even need to lie to Adrien and to the world, just because Gabriel asked her to and to protect Tomoe. As Alya said, truth is essential for someone's personal growth and Adrien was capable of handling the truth, and Tomoe deserves to go to jail.
By lying, she made everything worse, especially since she knows multiple people, including the new holder of the Butterfly Miraculous, already know the truth and could expose her at any time.
This kind of behavior is very irresponsible, especially for someone who is both the Guardian of the Miracle Box. She even acted irresponsibly with the Rabbit Miraculous in Dark Castle, despite Bunnyx’s warnings.
That's why I agree with Alya calling her out, even to the point of breaking up their friendship.
Unfortunately, since Marinette is the main character, this will likely be brushed aside like her past mistakes, and everyone, including Alya and Adrien, will eventually forgive her.
Why is no one considering Lila is inserting herself into the family? [The Dirtifiers Spoilers]
After The Dirtifiers, a lot of theories popped up about Lila being Tomoe's lost daughter, and some even go as far as saying she's a sentibeing, which I think is very stupid.
But there's a much simpler and more plausible explanation.
We know Lila worked with Gabriel from S3 to S5. During that time, Gabriel was closely working with Tomoe. They designed the Alliance rings and made Lila the public face of them. That would've given Lila plenty of opportunities to meet Tomoe and observe her.
From there, it's not hard to imagine Lila seeing potential in Tomoe as a powerful figure she could latch onto. Compared to Gabriel, who was strict and tough on Lila, Tomoe would be a much easier target for manipulation. And, Tomoe's influence and status make her an ideal person for Lila to attach herself to.
So instead of actually being part of the family, it's far more likely that Lila is trying to insert herself into it.
TL;DR: Lila likely met Tomoe through Gabriel and is trying to work her way into the family, so she's probably not her biological daughter.

thenightly.com.auZAG is actively trying to distract the fanbase
Fans want S6 finale. Fans want episodes released on a reasonable schedule. But ZAG knows they can't deliver that for whatever reason.
So instead, they keep pushing out other things to hold people's attention. Things like Miraculous Secrets (which is completely unnecessary as commentary should come from fans, not the officials), S7 posters, and random, useless updates like "writing for S7 is complete" as if that's meaningful to us fans.
So, anything they post that isn't the next episode is just a distraction, and they know it.
So keep that in mind before getting caught up in the next distraction.

reuters.comAkumas aren't called "komiko" when used for good
I don’t know why some people think akumas change names depending on whether they're used for good or evil. The name has nothing to do with intent, it depends only on what the current Butterfly Miraculous holder chooses to call them.
Betterfly didn't even know the term "akuma". If the Butterfly Miraculous had been used for evil in their world too, they probably would've just kept calling them "komiko". Similarly, Gabriel enhanced their power and called them "megakuma". Lila pushed them even further and renamed them "ultrakuma". She created a different type and called it "antikuma".
The same logic applies to everything else. (De)transformation phrases, and power (de)activation lines aren't fixed rules either. All the Butterfly and Peacock holders we've seen, use their powers without saying anything at all. Every Peacock Miraculous holder has used the same (de)transformation phrases, and called amoks by the same name, regardless of good or evil. In French, transformation phrases are just "transform me".
Phrases are only convenient triggers, not requirements. In Miracle Queen, it's implied that simply saying the kwami's name is enough to transform. Everything else, phrases, hero names and designs, etc. comes down to the holder.
This is not the last time we'll see her [Queen of The Dreadzone Spoilers]
QoTD is not Chloe's final appearance. We'll probably see more of her in S7, and not just online, but in person too. And before anyone gets their hopes up, no, this won't involve a redemption.
We already know Chloe has become a big influencer. In Daddycop, she was looking for an underling, which shows she's surrounding herself with new people she can control or bully. In Queen of the Dreadzone, we also learned that she can influence trends and is making being evil trendy through her posts.
I think that is setup, and we'll see this being explored in S7. It could be by showing her weaponising her fame against her enemies in Paris, or we'll see a day in her life in London. I could even see Ladybug and the Miraculers stepping in to take down her influence there, just like they did in Paris.

There's still a chance Chloe gets redeemed
After everything that's happened with Chloe willingly choosing to side with Lila and Monarch, there's really only one way a redemption arc could work without creating major plot holes. She would have to lose everything; her wealth, her status, her popularity, even her mother's support. She'd need to hit rock bottom and struggle before rebuilding herself with the help of the very people she hurt in the past.
I think that's the only scenario where her redemption could feel earned. And even then, there's still a very high chance she could relapse or betray them again.
That said, considering how the show has handled her character since S4, I highly doubt we'll ever see something like this happen.
