Elgato Neo Freaking Out

Hello!

So I have had my little Elgato for a bit now and I am obsessed. I wfh so on my PC I have 2 profiles (one for work & a personal one). I have it set up differently for each profile.

The issue arises when I go to swap profiles on my PC. Whenever I switch it will be fine for a moment and then start glitching out. It is pretty consistent every time. I usually have to fully restart my PC for it to settle again, and then I have no issues until I switch again.

Is this just a quirk of the Elgato? Or is it user error? Has anyone else experienced this as well?

Vacation & Connector App

Hello! So I have been at this wfh position for a little bit now and my wife and I have a vacation coming up!!

So we use the app Connector that reroutes the phone calls to our phones which is fine BUT since I don't want to deal with it during my vacation, is there a way to block those calls specifically WITHOUT sending them to voicemail? Since my boss is more than likely going to take over answering them when I'm gone (we are a small team lol)

I can mute notifications, I know that, but since it reroutes the calls to my actual phone I don't know what to do and I really don't want to be spammed or accidentally answer something while on vacation

Thank you so much!

(I also can't add the app full name since it thinks I'm trying to look for a job 😂 it starts with an L__d connector lol)

First Time as a W9 Employee - Taxes & Write Off Questions

Hello! I have always been a W2 employee so I have never had to think of this before so I had a few questions! Here is a smidge of info first though!

○ I am completely work from home, 9 - 5, I clock in and clock out. I have an hourly rate and commissions as well.

○A friend came over and mentioned doing write offs for my phone & PC since I actively use those for my job. I take calls on my phone and I use my PC for emails, booking & whatnot.

Since I have never had to think of write offs before for any job previously I wanted to know what was acceptable and not. I do know to put back money for taxes, so no need to worry there, but everything I was looking up was for 1099 contractors and those are the same but not, I think?

I just kind of want to know what to expect when taxes come around so im not stressed and scrambling when it comes time! Thank you!
