Day 1

Im just starting 50mg of pristiq, today is day one. I'm taking it for pretty bad health anxiety and general anxiety. I'm only 2hrs in and do notice increased anxiety, higher heart rate, dry mouth, and I've had a few of these wierd rush feelings that start from the gut and go to the brain that gives a second of slight nausea that goes away in a few seconds. I'm also pacing the house because I can't sit still.

I do have to say that I was already super anxious about taking the med before I even took it so maybe that is why I feel like this, but i do hope it gets better from here.

Please tell me it gets better after day one lol.

Sensitive to medication side-effects

My doctor prescribed me 50mg of Desvenlafaxine for High health anxiety. I really want to try it, but I had a horrible experience with a different med 12 years ago and I'm afraid to try this one. I am very sensitive to medication symptoms and tend to feel them easily. Because of my work schedule, it would be easiest for me to take it before bed.

Has anyone had success with this medication who has low tolerance to side effects as well as taking it before bed? I really want to feel better but I'm just staring at this bottle every day.

Brain fog

I've had brain fog pretty much everyday for a long time. I'm talking the kind of brain fog that even effects your vision (kind of like a lag or too vivid and hard to focus). Along with disassociation, slight confusion and forgetfulness.

Please tell me how you managed to get rid of it.
