Sled pulls when you don't have a sled.

Sled pulls. They rock.

I don't own a sled, live in a street where I could pull a sled and I'm not joining a gym just for the sled.

But I wanted to pull a sled.

So I improvised: I took the handcart I use to tow my kids and our piles of beach stuff around in summer and I pull my kids up the hill to the car from kindergarten every day.

I walk backwards up a hill pulling a handcart holding two preschool kids and all of their outdoor gear for around 450 m/1500 ft.

It's actually hard work and it activates far more of my glutes and hip stabilizers along with my quads than just walking backwards on a treadmill. Not that I am going to stop doing that.

At the end of the day, I'm so grateful to Ben Patrick for drawing so much awareness to knee health and providing such great resources!

Mass fleet mods?

Sooooo I have 1500 Katanas in 30 fleets of 50 ships.

They're happily guarding the galaxy, keeping BUC and the xenon in check while they farm mods for me.

Many thanks to the dedicated and tireless crews who are chewing through my funds faster than my son eats salami sticks! Go Katanas!

Now on to the actual question:

Is there any way to mass apply mods to selected ships?

The mod components just keep on piling up and I have no use for them now that my personal fleet is fully modded.

After moving on from the NR200, building in the Shiny Snake S400 Pro while travelling and then the Meshroom D, I've transferred my system back to the Meshlicious because it simply offers the best combination of cooling and size.

While the NR200 will always be my first love in the world of SFF PCs, the Meshlicious is great for my purposes.

FANS:
Radiator: 2x Arctic P14 Max
GPU: 2x Arctic P14
Top: Thermalright TL-C12015B-S (borrowed from my AXP120-67, just as good as my Noctua A12x15 and better than the Arctic P12 slim plus I have one tiny bit of RGB)
Rear: 2x Noctua A6x25

THERMALS:
(Tested using OCCT power test, CPU and GPU running simultaneously for maximum thermal load. Ambient temperature: 26 °C. Total power draw at the wall: approx. 710 W)
CPU: i9-132900KF - 73 °C (pulling 250-260W)
GPU: Zotac Solid Core OC 5080 - 76 °C (pulling 320 W. Proper undervolt to follow)
RAM: 45 °C

At idle/under my usual daily workload, temps sit at around +6 °C over ambient.

NOISE:
All fans at max? Loud but tolerable. The air passing through the radiator is the loudest source of noise and the MSI VRM fan is a menace with the most annoying noise profile.

Gaming: Subjectively comfortable.

Work: The quiet susurration of moving air. My tinnitus and the birds chirping outside are louder.

NOTES:

I modified the motherboard tray to provide more clearance for the Arctic Liquid Freezer III 280 and the chunky Arctic P14 Max fans and also to make room for a 120 or 140 mm top fan. I have actuall shoehorned in an Arctic P14 slim.

Because the fans on my Zotac Solid Core OC 5080 started showing incredibly annoying bearing whine after about a month, I went ahead and deshrouded it, finally settling on the Arctic P14s. They are simply stacked and held in place by the mesh. Thanks to the thickness of the heatsink on the GPU and the thickness of the fans, the side mesh holds the P14s perfectly in place. This makes cleaning the GPU heatsink effortless.

The new Corsair SF1000 can be installed flipped as the cables are actually long enough and don't need any extensions.

I am using an industrial phase change pad and used a slow burn in. Burning in the PTM has made a huge difference in thermal performance.

When I adjust the fan curves, the Cancel and OK buttons often grey out and remain inaccessible. To change the settings I need to make the changes and instead of clicking OK, I click on "Close window" in the Win 11 taskbar and click "Save" when the unsaved changes dialogue appears. This is also the only way of closing the change settings window once the buttons are greyed out.

This is new behaviour following once of the recent updates.
