I tried to find documentation/links on my particular scenario but could not find anything on MV's website. I have a two year resident permit (valid from august 2025) for studies and travelled to sweden last year for my Masters. I had to relocate out of Sweden due my job just after the first semester, i informed my university and they froze my degree and i also informed Skatteverket about me permanently leaving the country.
I also informed MV of this so they could revoke my resident permit and to make sure there aren't any issues in future applications.
Now the issue is, I've gotten the email from them that they've started a case of revocation for my permit. They said i would be getting a decision via post (at my current address outside of Sweden) but so far i have not received anything (email was received 10 weeks ago). I've tried to send followup emails but haven't gotten any response from MV yet.
I want to visit Sweden again to meet up with friends and plan on doing so by applying for a Schengen visa. My concern here is whether that active revocation case will cause problems for me or not. Has anyone been through a similar situation before or are there any links covering this scenario?
