I spent the last three years creating Monmouth County at War: Rebels, Raiders, and Revolution. Figured with the 250th coming up this July 4th, this is a good time to share it. It’s an hour long and gets into what the Revolution actually looked like here, beyond the Battle of Monmouth. Loyalist raiders, local score settling, some of the lesser known people who got caught up in it, the stories of Colonel Tye, Molly Pitcher, and more.

I picked up these shelves from an estate sale basement for 20 bucks.They were so covered in dust that you could barely tell they were orange. I had no idea until I looked them up later that they’re actually valuable space-age shelves by Olaf Von Bohr, an Italian designer from the 1960s. They took a lot of cleaning, but I think they look amazing!

Found the holy grail of film photography. “Free film for the life of the camera.” I’ve already retained counsel. Walgreens made a binding legal promise in 1997 and I intend to collect. /s
