I made a documentary about the Revolutionary War in Monmouth County, and it’s not just about the battle
I spent the last three years creating Monmouth County at War: Rebels, Raiders, and Revolution. Figured with the 250th coming up this July 4th, this is a good time to share it. It’s an hour long and gets into what the Revolution actually looked like here, beyond the Battle of Monmouth. Loyalist raiders, local score settling, some of the lesser known people who got caught up in it, the stories of Colonel Tye, Molly Pitcher, and more.
Shot entirely at historical locations and re-enactments in Nj - NO AI IS USED:)
Trying to get it in front of more people around here since, well, it’s about here.
Full film’s up if you want to watch:

Happy to answer questions about the making of it or what I learned about the history itself!
