Record Breaking Call Offs

Our store cut everyones hours then last minute scheduled people to work 4th of July weekend. With no holiday pay or benefits ofc people called out en masse including myself. Store is a mess and half the stuff is out of stock.

How are yall's stores going this weekend?

New Lowes Life Hack!!!

Okay so I wanted to buy 50 bags of mulch. Turns out instead of just driving to the store, getting an associate, and getting myself loaded, you can make an online order!

I saved a grand total of 0 seconds, but it felt so empowering to make an online order. I also made sure to make the employees do all the work. They get paid by the hour for a damn reason after all.

Is it worth rebuilding my relationship with cap1 if they merged with Discover?

For some further context, when I was younger, i got into a severe alcohol addiction that I have thankfully overcome through rehab. During this time, Discover sued and got a default judgment.

I have two delinquent cards with cap1 that I can definitely pay off with my new job. The only problem is they are currently going through an approved merger with discover.

My assets/bank accounts are all safe from judgment via advice from a lawyer.

My question is, would it even be worth paying off these cards or let them age off my report/statute of limitations? Id like to eventually get cards with cap1 in the future, as they seem to be forgiving by the sounds of other posts. But if I cant because of the merger I'd like to not waste my money.
