How is the new Fire Emblem?

I'm a big fan of the fire emblem games, but I will admit that I didn't like engage. I found the combat to be as engaging as ever, but the anime tropes and characters were really annoying. I liked 3H, though. My issues is that I heard the new one is heavily skewed towards the out of combat activities, particularly the social features. Is this true?

Looking for games with great combat

After finishing Onimusha, it's hard to go to other games. I tried Control Resonant, and it's a good game, but not like Onimusha. Sekiro is obviously also great. I've tried the Dark Souls games and Elden Ring, and while they're fine. I prefer faster paced games. I loved DMC, Ninja Gaiden. The new Jedi games. How is Stellar Blade? Any other games you guys would recommend? I tried Lies of P, but found it too slow.

Any experience with SoundProof USA?

To follow up an earlier post about soundproof windows. The only real option in our area is soundproof USA. Their reviews online seem good. We are dealing with living near a skeet shooting range, so shotguns and rifles. Our living room is a big open space with a ton of windows. Soundproof is very expensive, so wanted to see if anyone has any experience with them?

Is there something I'm missing with Dawnwalker?

I'm a huge fan of W3, so I was excited to pick this up. I'm just trying to see if the game gets better. I've played a bit over 3 hours. The movements are incredibly stiff and awkward, the combat while initially intriguing, becomes frustrating and wears off its novelty. I'm early on in the story, but it just doesn't seem all that interesting. The overall story certainly is, but the moment to moment gameplay objectives don't seem to be. It's the story, I imagine, that will carry this game, but man is the gameplay tough to get through. Am I being too overly harsh too early? Does it actually get better?

How much would window soundproofing help?

We love our home, but one issue is that we live near a skeet shooting range that shoots multiples times per week. The loud noises are irritating. I'm mainly looking to soundproof our windows because our living room is large in a big open space with a lot of windows, big and small. I found a company that says that they can soundproof the windows by essentially putting another window over your own. They have good reviews, but it would be very expensive. Do others feel this would actually help?

Downcoding is becoming a crisis

It's been posted a few times, but BCBS IL, TX, New Mexico, Montana and Oklahoma (all HCSC companies) have instituted an automatic downcoding policy whereby all 99215 and 99214 claims are only being paid as 99213 since 7/1. These are the biggest commercial insurers in their states. BCBS IL controls like 70% of the market in Chicagoland. This is a massive revenue loss and the only way around it is to go through a laborious process of appeals that are slow, unclear and are also controlled by BCBS. I know practices that are likely to close if this continues. At the very least, it's a massive increase in labor costs. I'm just amazed at how little coverage it's getting. None of the major health news websites are reporting on it. I hear the AMA (which is headquartered in IL) are having internal meetings about it, but no press releases or anything. Private medical group facebook groups are blowing up about it, but that's a small part.

It's terrifying how utterly detached physicians have become from their own billing. So many I talk to who are directly affected don't even know it's happening. We're looking at 20-30 percent reductions in salary because of this. Meanwhile, insurance companies are all reporting profit gains.

Sorry for the rant, but it's a scary time.

PC vs Switch version?

I have the steam version, but haven't played it much. Before getting deeper into it, I was wondering about the switch version. I have a switch 2 and would be interested in playing it mobile. Worth it or should I just stick with the PC version?

Help with appealing downcodes?

BCBS in IL and Texas have started automatically downcoding all 99214 and 99215 claims to 99213 and requiring appeals. Anyone have experience with this or know of a company in IL that has experience with appeals and downcodes?

BCBS of IL & Texas are automatically downcoding E/M billing codes

They announced this policy and it's now gone in effect. We're seeing it. All 99214 billing codes are being automatically downcoded to 99213 and paid as such. It doesn't matter what diagnostic codes you attach, how long you saw the patient, etc. It's happening automatically. They're saying that you can appeal, but it's a long, unclear, arduous process. BCBS IL is the largest private insurance in IL. This is massive. It's around a $40 loss on every patient encounter that could have been a 99214. Not sure what can be done about it, but something needs to.

How to start?

I know nothing about investing. I just want to put my money in an index fund and forget about it. I have a 401K and HYSA with wealthfront. Should I use wealthfront for a taxable investment account or something like fidelity?
