I have a Samsung (A26) that I use with Soundcore Q20i headphones. I had been using the default AAC codec but for some reason the quality got worse, basically it sounds like the high end is missing at times. Tried unpairing & repairing & all that, still sounds off. So every time I have to use the headphones I have to go into Developer settings to select the SBC codec which sounds much clearer. Already tried switching HD audio off, doesn't matter, always defaults to AAC when I start the headset. My headset only supports AAC & SBC. Is there any way to keep SBC as the default codec so I don't have to keep doing this? Or do I now have to get a headset that supports AptX or LDAC? I have no idea what the AAC bitrate is that is being used, but it sounds low enough that the high frequency parts of music like cymbals sound quite distorted. And this is with WAV or 320 mp3 files. Oddly enough, streaming services that use lower bitrates sound better! AAC just isn't well executed on Android. Still don't know why it sounds worse that it did earlier. I did pair my headset to another audio device, but that's not used at the same time that I am listening via my phone so it shouldn't make a difference, right?

So a similar pattern to years past with everyone being diverted to the South Shore. With the work happening in Elmont, certainly they could end trains at Mineola instead using interlockings east & west of the station to turn trains, right? Then just have a bus bridge between Mineola & Jamaica. It would be a lot more direct and probably faster than having everyone go to Babylon. I sometimes think politics overrides common sense when it comes to these decisions.

Finally tried it despite hesitation over the price. Just the regular, but it was a decent size. A huge improvement over any cheesesteak I ever had at Arby's. I know some miss the peppers and garlic sauce but those aren't things that are usually on a cheesesteak to begin with. I loved the bread too, and the flavor of the cheese. Definitely more in line with some of the other fast food cheesesteaks I have had at Charleys and Great Steak. Definitely will get again. The cheese, steak, and onion blend was perfect. There was one gristly piece but you usually get that with steak even when I make it at home.

This is now the 3rd damn time it's happened. I see an ear specialist, and get a bill for services that are supposed to be covered by my insurance Medicare Primary Medicaid Secondary. Under NYU Langone Physician Services for $200. I have Fee For Service Medicaid. It's impossible to even reach a human being on the phone. It took a month of back & forth to get it straightened out the last time. I got anxiety and depression I can't deal with this crap. Not to mention their Dentistry Department tried to rip me off doing a procedure they said would be covered, until I got a bill for $500, and had to dispute that. All these problems started within the past year. They just want to scam people it seems. Meanwhile the doctor barely spends any time with you. Medical care has become an utter joke and New York is supposed to be one of the better states. They aren't getting a penny from me because I don't have any. Are other people with Medicare and Medicaid experiencing the same issues? I only get $1300 in SS a month after Medicare deductions who do these people think they are?
