We all know Karara right? The Little Keronian Girl who accidentally crashed on Earth and pretended to be part of the Keroro Platoon, which would lead to her repeatedly falling in love with all the respective Members of the Platoon and trying to marry them. Her flip flopping on who she specifically wants to marry in the course of a single episode.

I always found this habit of hers to be a bit weird, though I originally didn’t think much of it since it was likely just a “Funny Character Quirk”. But then I watched Episode 120-B where Momoka gets hit with the “If We Lived Twice” Gun and accidentally becomes an adult. With this Episode following introducing a very… interesting Character.

We are specifically introduced to an Alien Species known as a “Daaishian”, which is a “Trendy Type Alien that is prone to falling intensely in love”. With the Daaishian falling deeply in love with Natsumi (despite her being a minor by Pekoponian Standards, because Aliens don’t give any fucks about weird age gaps) and immediately trying to propose to her.

The Daaishian, after being (predictably) rejected by Natsumi, comes across Momoka (who has been turned into an Adult). The Daaishian begs for Momoka to marry him as he evidently got over Natsumi (who he was asking to marry a few minutes ago), with the Daaishian realizing his “Jewel from Planet Daaishi” he used to propose to Natsumi had gone missing.

Momoka naturally refuses and the Daaishian shoots a “Trendy Beam” that makes it so her body can’t move or speak (that definitely does not have dark implications). Luckily (I guess), the Daaishian just proceeds to dance with her before being confronted. With him paralyzing the “Rival in Love” Fuyuki before getting punted by Dark Momoka.

We then finally see the Daaishian desperately trying to ask for Kogoro’s blessing to marry Lavie (who apologizes), with him again evidently getting over Momoka. After seeing this Episode, I cannot help but compare Karara to the Daaishian. I mean, they both have the tendency to fall madly in love before quickly moving on to the next Person when it doesn’t pan out.

This makes me think that Karara’s odd habit stems from her potentially being at least partly of Daaishian Heritage. I am not sure where in the bloodline this might have happened, but I think that one of Karara’s ancestors might have been targeted by a Daaishian and actually reciprocated their feelings… in more ways than one.

I believe that Karara’s Dormant Daaishian Genes might have kicked in when she got rescued by Tamama, which led to her repeatedly falling in love with Members of the Keroro Platoon and repeatedly trying to marry them. Though I do have to note that we NEVER once see or hear about Karara’s Mother, as we know that she is the Daughter of Dobaba. 

So, knows, maybe Dobaba had a promiscuous relationship with a Female Daaishian at one point and was forced to take care of their child once she inevitably left him. Now I am not 100% serious about this since I am not even sure if Keronians and Daaishians are even “comparible”, but I believe this to be a fun headcanon that lines up with Karara’s character.
