I doubt any of the other venerables (other than Goategisis and fang yuan) could have conquered reverse flow river because even ren zu could not

We know how much of a goat ren zu is yet even he could not

Second feat is realizing the greed of humanity by seeing a child desperate to revive his mother in

Ch 1959, when asked if his mother were to die would he still refuse so indifferently Genesis Lotus seriously pondered the question and then replied "Yes I will still do this" This feat is important because to realize the greed of humanity from a child takes empathy and one of the reasons fang yuan is so great is because he is not a Phsycopath and his empathy is greater than anyone else. But Genesis Lotus is indifferent on the surface like fang yuan but not so much in his heart.

He conquered reverse flow river so, he might be as goated as fang yuan in terms of mentality.

Moreover he has actual schemes (spectral soul can empathize) and there was a guy saying he gave no investment to fang yuan... Reverse flow river.

Also the way he executed the scheme against spectral soul means that his schemes are subtle and undetectable meaning he might currently have multiple arrangements at play.
