What’s the best workaround for people without dedicated parking?

Living in a city where dedicated parking isn't guaranteed, this is probably one of the biggest things that makes me hesitate about getting a 4W EV. I already own a 2W EV and heavily rely on public chargers.

If you don't have a private parking spot, how are you actually managing charging?

Do people rely entirely on public chargers, charge at work, or have some other workaround?

Also curious about apartment dwellers - are RWAs/societies generally becoming more EV-friendly, or is getting permission and access to a charging point still a headache? The recent Haryana news that EV charging for parking has become a major problem made me ask this question!

Would love to hear what actually works in the real world, especially in Indian cities.

How often is “too often” for DC fast charging?

I've seen a lot of mixed opinions online about DC fast charging.

Some people say it's perfectly fine to use regularly because modern battery management systems are smart enough to protect the battery. Others recommend using it only for road trips and sticking to AC charging for everyday use.

For those who've owned an EV for a while:

How often do you use DC fast charging?

  • Every day?
  • A few times a week?
  • Only on road trips?

Have you noticed any impact on battery health or charging performance over time, or is the concern a bit overblown with newer EVs?

Would love to hear real-world experiences rather than just what's written in the owner's manual.

What’s the longest you’ve waited for a charger in India?

We've all heard about range anxiety, but charger queue anxiety feels just as real sometimes. 😅

For EV owners who've done road trips or relied on public charging:

What's the longest you've had to wait for a charger in India? (just a curious EV enthusiast asking this)

  • Where was it?
  • What caused the delay?
  • Was the charger occupied, out of service, or just too much demand?
  • Did it change how you plan your future trips?

Would love to hear some real-world experiences - both the horror stories and the surprisingly smooth ones!

How often do you plan your trip around charger availability?

I’ve been noticing that with EV road trips (especially in India), I sometimes end up planning the entire trip based more on charger locations than the actual shortest or fastest route.

Curious how others approach this:

  • Do you actively check charger availability before leaving?
  • Do you stick to “safe” routes with reliable chargers?
  • Or has charging infra improved enough that you don’t think about it much anymore?

Would love to hear real experiences, especially from people doing intra/intercity drives regularly.

Any recommendation on 2-wheeler fast chargers?

Recently purchased a 2-wheeler EV. While I got a charger with the EV, I cannot rely on just home charging (obviously).

Plus I also travel frequently on weekends.

Would appreciate it if someone can help me with good, reliable fast EV chargers for 2-wheelers. I reside in Bangalore (if the location matters in anyway)
