Things you can...yes you can do to make your pick up experience go smoother.

1.Be on time.

Your pickup time is not a suggestion. If your'e running late dont expect your order to just be waiting on the curb the second you arrive. Your pick up time is a SCHEDULED WINDOW. If you have an order thats supposed to be picked up 8am and choose to come at 5pm dont be suprised that there are other orders ahead of you. On top of that your order may need to be located, staged or reworked.

2.Actually check in.

If the app tells you to check in, check in. You can do so from the walmart app where you placed the order. We can't read minds. If you are unable to check in a simple polite "Excuse me are you able to check me in" will suffice.

3.Have your order number/bar code ready.

This ones self explanatory but, here we are.

4.Don't show up for someone else's order without the necessary information.

“I'm picking up for my mom” isn't enough by itself. The barcode and or the four digit code under the bardcode are essential in checking out your order.

5.If someone else is picking up your order, make sure they're actually prepared.

Give them the order information for the love of god i.e a picture of the barcode that is sent to you or the four digit code that is under the barcode but,is also sent to you through TEXT.

6.Keep your trunk accessible.

If we have to move your gym bag, groceries, stroller, five blankets, and whatever else is living in your trunk just to load your groceries, you're making this harder than it needs to be.

7.Don't honk/catch an attitude because your order isn't out in 30 seconds.

Theres a plethora of reasons your order could be taking a while customers ahead of you, lack of staff,a surplus of orders.Being an asshole does not increase our movement speed. But more importantly than that STORES OPEN from 6am-11pm if you know your'e an impatient person MAYBE online pickup isnt for you.

8.Don't come inside asking where your pickup is if you're already checked in outside.

You're generally better off staying in your vehicle and letting the pickup team bring it out.

  1. PARK CLOSER.

Youd figure this one would be common sense/courtesy. Yet here we are. Some of you will make literal traffic in a parking lot to get a closer parking spot to the building. Why isnt this energy you keep when you pick up your own groceries??? It shouldnt be any different. If spots 1-10 are open park in one of those tf are we parking in the 20's for. Have some decency.

  1. Substitutions

Look if you know you only want a specific item/brand and only that. For the love of god please turn off substitutions. Countless minutes/hours going through giant orders when you know you werent going to want a substituiton. Just turn it off.

So whats the general consensus on Spark drivers.

Link related but not the main post but the COMMENTS. I feel as if drivers really let that "im my own boss thing go to there head" without reading THEIR TOS and dont realize its alot of stuff we let slide/work with them on. Some of these drivers legit act as if they know our jobs better than us. They often consider us enforcing some of the rules as associates "POWER TRIPPING" but what alot of them fail to realize is at any given point in time some of them are breaking like 2-3 but alot of us are chill about it let it slide etc...

Some of these drivers legit look down and belittle us for being EMPLOYED. As someone whos working here and going to school. Im never gonna be ashamed of being emplpyed TF. Things cpuld be alot worse. I could be one of you drivers with these shitty, piss smelling vehicles, engourged in trash. Having to bank my life on whether someone is generous enough to TIP ME OR NOT.

Mf really act as if they work even a fraction as hard as us. Berate us for being "lazy" and dont realize that gig can be gone just like that. All from a simple report by a regular ass associate. I swear most of the people that spark are just

A. Peope who CANT hold a 9-5.

B. Shitty customers turned drivers.
