Hello. I was recently assessed for environmental allergies and based on my results was recommended to buy an air purifier.

Location: Southeastern Pennsylvania, USA.

Room Volume: 1,400ft volume* 168 square feet (13ft x 13ft x 8 ft).

Filtration needs: Dust and pollen. Below .01 microns is preferred.

Budget (per unit + yearly filters): $600-$700

I was looking at some Winix units, primarily ones with the carbon filter like the 5200, and C545.

I’m going to be using this in tandem with a dehumidifier.
